LEOMINSTER Town gave a fine performance to take three big points off a Warstone side jostling its way towards a top-five finish in West Midlands Regional League Division One.
In a match of stand-out performances, Marcus Jones – back after 11 weeks out – and Matt Williams were men of the match as they held Town’s defence together.
But they were run close by young Sam Thomas who made both Town’s goals, sending over pin-point crosses for Dean Jordan to hammer home the opening goal on 50 minutes and Ben Price to hit the winner as the clock ran down.
