HEREFORDSHIRE businesses could find themselves in the national spotlight by entering a competition aiming to change the image of modern manufacturing.

The county's most creative companies are invited to enter the Make it in Great Britain Challenge which aims to find the most innovative pre-market products, processes and concepts in the UK.

The challenge is open to inventors, manufacturers, engineers, designers, all businesses, young people and the general public across five categories.

Category winners will showcase their creations at the Make it in Great Britain exhibition at the Science Museum in London, coinciding with the Olympics.
