Herefordshire Business News: Herefordshire students to take part in the Business Game
9:00am Friday 3rd February 2012

A NUMBER of Herefordshire schools and colleges are taking part in a business contest to boost their entrepreneurial skills.
Students from Lady Hawkins in Kington, John Masefield in Ledbury, John Kyrle in Ross-on-Wye, Hereford Academy, Hereford Cathedral School and Hereford Sixth Form College have signed up to take part in the Business Game.
This challenges students to solve real-life business and engineering problems. Students from years 13 and 14 will compete at the Sixways Stadium, home of the Worcester Warriors, on March 2.
“We are looking for entrants from schools, and students doing A-levels in business studies, maths, physics or design and technology," said organiser Celia Adams.
"It will be a great day out for students and staff to meet local employers, who are talent-spotting with opportunities for work experience, apprenticeships and future opportunities to ensure Britain has a successful manufacturing industry.”
Teams of six will compete for prizes. Email Celia Adams at celia@celiaadams.co.uk for more details.
